Your Mission

As a Supply Chain Assistant, you are part of the local supply chain organization and oversee the plant’s in and outbound flows. This includes the procurement of components for the plant according to the plant constraints (stock level, incoming deliveries, expected output, shifting model, etc.). You ensure the proper follow-up of the different logistics processes. If there is the need, the Supply Chain Assistant is the Backup for the production planning.

Your Responsibilities
- You are responsible for efficiently organizing the material requirements planning and/or production planning.
- You control the inventory and respect procedures within your scope of activity, and are accountable for the accuracy of stock levels.
- You drive relevant corrective actions in close communication with involved parties.
- You maintain the levels of finished goods, consumables, and components according to the customer needs and adapt the planning accordingly.
- You make sure the material is available for the planned deliveries.
- You actively participate in the actions defined for the improvement of logistics activities.
- You generate and control the invoicing to the customers.
- You deliver relevant reporting and KPIs in your area of responsibility.
- You provide an analysis of the stock in the warehouse and propose actions to reduce unused or unnecessary stock.

In your scope of responsibility, you ensure that the ERP transactions are accurate. You address potential adjustments, or modifications needs to the respective parties.
- You control the need for extra deliveries and returns and ensure the customers and suppliers are served on time without compromising the stock levels.
- You control the consumptions versus the forecasts and regularly adapt the material requirements planning accordingly.
- You keep track and analyze the forecast accuracy of the customer and delivery performance of suppliers and escalate to the Supply Chain Manager when necessary.
- Back-up production planning

Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or similar through education or experience
- Experience of 2 years in a Production or Logistics environment, preferably in a similar role
- Local language. English, is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
- Experience in automotive is a plus_._
