We’re looking for a visionary and hands-on leader to head our team of AI product innovators. As **Head of (Generative) AI Products (f/m/d)**, you’ll lead a team of 7-8 skilled data scientists and AI product owners in shaping the future of AI at Siemens. Your team will develop foundational AI products that can be reused across multiple domains and use cases - ensuring scalability, consistency, and long-term impact.
- You will empower the team to deliver real business value through cutting-edge (Generative) AI, acting as both a visionary and a hands-on team leader. You’ll collaborate with other business and technology leaders to ensure alignment, adoption, and success of your AI products.

- Build and lead a high-performing, international team of data scientists and AI product owners
- Define and evolve a portfolio of reusable (Generative) AI products that meet cross-domain business needs
- Ensure end-to-end ownership of product lifecycles - from idea to deployment to continuous improvement
- Prioritize initiatives, handle escalations, and support team members’ personal and professional development
- Promote agile methodologies and a product-driven mindset within the team
- Ensure close collaboration with the other teams in the IT DA Artificial Intelligence team - such as the AI Project teams and the AI Scaling & Engineering team - to align on product development priorities and to promote the adoption of best practices across teams
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into actionable, scalable (generative) AI products
- Drive adoption and reuse of AI products across business units
- Maintain a strong focus on technical quality, reliability, and measurable impact

**Use Your Skills to Move the World Forward**
- ** Education**:University degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related quantitative field - or equivalent practical experience
- ** Experience & Skills**- 3+ years of experience leading international teams
- 2+ years of people management experience, either as a project lead or team lead
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- 3+ years of experience working with AI/ML algorithms, including generative AI (e.g., LLMs, diffusion models) and AI agents
- Customer-centric, outcome-driven mindset with a passion for innovation
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science or ML engineering (e.g., Python, R, Java, C#/.NET, etc.)
- Experience with cloud platforms (ideally Azure and/or AWS)
- Familiarity with MLOps practices and scalable ML infrastructure
- Experience working in agile environments (e.g., SCRUM)
- ** Languages**:Business fluent in English (spoken and written) and German language skills
