**Cloud Solution Architect AWS (d/f/m)**

**The** **Opportunity**

Our IOT & Engineering Team specializes in delivering the most complex projects which require cross-functional technical skillsets in challenging and dynamic project environments. CP’s area of focus is Product Engineering, Plant Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Manufacturing Operations Management, Industry 4.0, Industrial Internet of Things and Consumer Internet of Things. The team has presence across industries, with extensive traction in Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, Telecom Energy and Utilities, Retail, Automotive and Consumer Goods. Clients count on our Manufacturing and IOT expertise to help them architect the bridge between the physical world of sensors, machines, industrial processes, places, people and the digital world of software, IoT platforms and data. For our Industrial Manufacturing customers in Europe, we require qualified Mendix Developers to be a part of the engineering teams. You will:

- Gather requirements and specifications from clients and users
- Work closely with sales team members and enterprise architects to gain a complete sense of stakeholder expectations and limitations before undertaking a major development project
- Examine existing systems and programs to identify areas for improvement and integration
- Identify potential issues between systems and client specifications and propose new solutions to work around these limitations
- Determine a project’s scope before developers begin any major work
- Identify areas where implementation may require more solutions to be successful
- Communicate directly with enterprise architects, developers, and clients
- Direct and oversee the activities of a team of developers, answering questions or helping to resolve issues as they arise
- Monitor timelines and progress to ensure that team members are adhering to these specifications
- Meet with clients to provide feedback and updates on development projects throughout - from the initial conversations to determine project scope and s specifications to the final presentation of software solutions
- Prepare reports and presentations, as well as demonstrations, to keep the client informed about issues that arise during development and report on integration and deployment
- Work with outside vendors to develop and implement specific aspects of the software solution
- Consider costs and timelines and ensure that vendors meet deadlines for deliverables and project elements
- Review proposals and estimates from vendors and determine whether they fit into existing budgetary and time restrictions

**Required & nice-to-have Skills**

**Must-haves**:

- 12+ years of professional experience in the IT Industry
- Fluent in German and English
- Experience in cloud platform like AWS / Azure
- Expected to understand the business use-cases, technical merits and TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) value propositions
- Experience in implementing projects in cloud (Private / Hybrid / Multi)
- Strong understanding of business operation and processed and the ability to identify and implement IT solutions that solve management needs
- Outstanding client service skills
- Strong customer interfacing and conflict resolution skills

**Nice-to-have / Your chance to grow**:

- Ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders and project sponsors within target organizations
- Some experience performing pre-sales activities
- Ability to facilitate additional opportunities within the client account and to adapt quickly to changing technology
- Certification in AWS is preferred
