Let’s shape the future of the energy industry together For our Trading desk in our Supply, Infrastructure & Optimization Unit at our locations Hamburg or London we are looking for an experienced Jet Fuel Trader (m/w/d). The trading desks of Mabanaft’s Supply, Infrastructure & Optimization Unit focus on the international product flows and supply around the globe. From light ends to heavy fuel all fractions of the barrel are covered. Drop in fuels such as but not limited to SAF and HVO further complete the portfolio. Mabanaft’s group strategy focuses on hard to electrify sectors such as the transportation and aviation industry. A vital part of this strategy is the stable and secure global access and supply of jet fuel. The European middle distillates desk is currently looking for a: Jet Fuel Trader (m/w/d) Your benefits: - Ability to work freely: flexible working hours and individual remote work arrangement - Suitable for families: subsidized vacation camps for children, nanny support, etc. - Security and provisions: accident insurance also covering private accidents; excellent employer's contribution to your company pension scheme; "lifetime account" with opportunities to save for sabbaticals or early retirement - Health: healthy, subsidized meals in our employee restaurant, access to the free gym with sports offers, online sports courses, support in the event of personal problems and free use of the Headspace app - Learning & Development: we support you on your individual career path - Networking: networks within the company to spotlight all diversity aspects within the company, as well as participate in various company events - Other benefits: profit participation, vacation allowance, etc. Your responsibilities: - Ensure reliable and competitive jet fuel for Mabanaft's aviation business - Manage and execute physical trades, and ensure supply for internal and external customers - Responsible for jet supply and trading activities as part of the products supply & trading team - Closely working with the global trading and analysts team on SnDs, arbitrages, product flows - Capture physical price arbitrages - Manage pricing exposures between suppliers, customers, and operations - Keep close communication with the Aviation sales team, and with the biofuels desk on SAF requirements - Drive new business opportunities and ensure growth of the jet book Your skills: - Master’s Degree (or above) in either economics and/or business administration, or engineering, math, statistics, physics, or similar field - Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in trading - Highly numerate with exceptional analytical capacities, motivated, self-starter with strong commercial skills - Strong organization skills to help create and maintain business opportunities - Excellent interpersonal, communication and planning skills Your Contact: fuellingtomorrow
