For our location in Hamburg, we are now looking for a

(Senior) Corporate Risk Trader.

Your role / what will you do?

As the Corporate Risk Trader ('CR Trader') you focus on the management of Vattenfall´s main commercial risks: liquidity risk, credit risk and market risk. You will be in charge of this new function, which is anchored within Business Unit Trading but is aimed at the risks at group level. Consequently, there will be many interactions within the Vattenfall group, up to the highest level, regarding mandate and deal approval, strategy of the portfolio management and reporting on activities. The CR Trader will monitor the development of the aforementioned risks as well as initiate and (co-)conclude transactions that will lower the various risks.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

- Monitor and analyse Vattenfall´s commodity portfolio and related risk reports
- Initiate and conclude commodity transactions which aim to lower liquidity, credit and/or market risk
- Present deal proposals to various management levels including Board of Directors
- Be the leading person when it comes to the management of aforementioned risks

**Profile**:
Your profile / who are you?
- Proven track record in an Origination or Trading Role with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with various internal stakeholders, including Board members
- Ability to lead and conclude large commodity transactions
- Sound risk management experience
- Deep understanding and experience in the whole energy commodity complex
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken); additional languages advantageous
- Entrepreneurial mind-set with willingness to grow a new business
- Result oriented, independent working method with high reliability and readiness to take on responsibility
