Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Disciplinary and/or functional management of employees.
- Responsible for resource planning in the assigned area.
- Supervising regional R&D projects.
- Collaborating in market developments/new products.
- Monitoring and tracking products and what the competition is doing.
- Participating in development and responsible for compliance with global R&D standards.
- Providing technical support to the Sales departments and the plants.
- Acting as the technical point of contact between customers and internal departments; providing support with technical projects worldwide.
- Distribute, coordinate, and supervise the RD daily work through the whole product development stage, including but not limited to RFQ review, Concept design making, 3D and drawing review, FEA, DVP&R,
- Take part in internal, external and customer audit.
- Continuous improvement - review and make RD standardization files and keeping optimizing development procedure.
- Development capability enhancement - organize benchmark, database, and local RD team testing capability.

Qualifications:
Education background:

- Mechanical engineer with knowledge and development experience on structural part of auto (like Cross car beam, Front end module, frunk, or trunk), but at least experienced with plastic molding.

Work experience:

- Management skills / experience
- Familiar with structural part made by plastic / made by composite material, like car bumper, front end carrier, frunk, trunk, bracket, pack cover etc.
- Familiar with the basic knowledge about transmission / EDU / battery pack / car body in white / IP.
- Familiar with the product development procedure and QMS of Chinese OEM, JPN OEM, and European OEM.
- Familiar with IATF16949
- Management skills / experience
- Technical background - Mechanical engineering, basic knowledge about plastic material, composite material, FEA.
- Familiar with procedure and process of prototype making and testing and lab management.
