VistaJet GmbH is based in Hamburg with over 600 permanent staff, and operating a business jet fleet of private aircraft with worldwide operations. VistaJet GmbH also has further industry-related business units with Vista Aircraft Maintenance at Baden-Baden Airport and Vista Executive Handling at the Hamburg location.
We are looking for trainees (f/m/d) to become service agents in aviation at Hamburg Airport (at the General Aviation Terminal - GAT). In combination with the dual school-based training, the apprenticeship offers a wide-ranging insight into aviation.
Your Responsibilities:
The core areas of responsibility include handling business jets and to accompany our passengers from the moment they enter the airport, through baggage check-in, boarding and finally departure to their destination.
Other areas of responsibility include
- flight planning/dispatch,
- lost and found,
- passenger handling,
- ticketing,
- handling large aircraft,
- and warehousing.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
- Fluent written and spoken German and English
- Strong affinity for aviation
- Previous work experience in the aviation industry is an advantage
- Willingness to work shifts and weekends
- Professional manners
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Initiative and a sense of responsibility
- Independent, structured, and problem-solving-oriented work style
- Ability to keep a cool head in stressful situations
- Valid EU Class B driver's license
