Head of Group Accounting

**The Role**

At SellerX we are looking for a **Head of Accounting (x/f/m) for a one year parental leave contract**. Even this role is only temporarely in the driver seat to head our Group Accounting / consolidation function you will own the consolidation for our +60 entities globally and will have major impact to build and shape innovative and automated processes from day one.

**Your Responsibilities in Detail**
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in compliance with HGB
- Produce communication to investors/lenders
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve financial reporting efficiency and consistency across the group
- Manage a team of 2 people, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
- Coordinate and oversee group audits, ensuring that all financial information is presented transparently and in compliance with required standards

**Your Background**

To join our team, you bring along
- Experience in audit or consulting or Group Accounting (you feel confident to produce Group Accounting numbers in a growing and dynamic company)
- Significant experience in senior accounting roles, preferably within multinational corporations
- Experience working with common ERP systems (NetSuite, etc.) and consolidation tools (LucaNet is a plus)
- Strong technical knowledge of German GAAP (HGB)
- Structured and sharp communication skills in English (German is not reqired, but a plus)
- First leadership experience is a plus
