**What you'll do**

As an intern, you will have the chance to gain a deep insight into Corporate Controlling.
You will support the central forecast process as well as projects that are driven by the Central Forecast CoE. In that context, you will support different workstreams of our “FC reimagined”-project, with its ambition to further standardize and automate our forecast process, especially in the area of machine learning and predictive analytics. You will also support the rollout of these models to other Controlling processes and Controlling teams to leverage the potential of automized and predictive analytics. With the use of state-of-the art planning and (predictive) analytics tools, forecasting accuracy and predictability of revenue and expense movements should be continuously improved.
In this role, you’ll:

- Support preparation and planning of SAP Group’s financial central forecast
- Provide ad-hoc analyses around diverse finance topics
- Support workstreams in the “Forecast reimagined” project
- Test abilities and limits of innovative predictive analytics tools
- Connect with ID&A, data scientists as well as with the business at multiple levels
- Proactively think cross-boundaries and coordinate with other teams

You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, shows perseverance and an ongoing curiosity. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

- Extraordinary analytical, interpersonal and communication skills to successfully interact with colleagues and executive management alike
- Knowledge of Predictive Analytics/ Data Mining/ Statistics
- Interest in innovative IT solutions for continuous process improvement
- Computer skills: Strong knowledge in MS Office (especially Excel/PowerPoint), SAP BI, SAP ERP, SAP Analytics Cloud
- Language skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in both, English and German
- Soft skills: Proven ability to work in a team
- Others: Curiosity to explore and learn

**Meet your team**

The Center of Expertise (CoE) “Central Forecast & Subsidiary Controlling” belongs to Corporate Controlling with focus on the financial central forecast process for the SAP Group. The CoE regularly provides a total year revenue and expenses forecast on SAP Group level to the Board, which is used for internal and external steering purposes. This is done with the help of standardized, financial calculation models and state-of-the-art predictive analytics tools. On top of this, the CoE provides expert advice on specific revenue and expense types, prepares ad-hoc revenue and cost analyses for SAP’s top management, and is deeply involved in projects with major impact on SAP’s future financial steering and reporting.#Internship #Praktikum #Germany #Deutschland #Student #LIHybrid
