Our partner, a well-known German online platform, is looking for an **Enterprise Data Steward (M/F/d)** to maintain data management strategies, policies, standards and processes. This is a full-time position in **Dusseldorf metropolitan area, Germany** (partial work from home is possible).

About the company:

- In international projects, they develop customized data & analytics solutions for their business and IT teams
- They support the entire organization in making important decisions based on reliable data and state-of-the-art analyses

Your responsibilities:

- Enhance data catalog together with their business partners
- Classify data entities
- Work on data protection requirements and data storage
- Consider security classifications and access controls
- Work closely with the Data Architects and Data Stewards in our Data Community, as well as with the privacy, risk management, and information security teams
- Maintain data management strategies, policies, standards and processes

Required qualifications:

- At least a Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics or comparable qualification/training
- 4+ years of practical experience in the area of Data Stewardship/ Data Architecture/ Data Management/ Data Governance
- Knowledge of Data Ethics/ Data Protection and Data security
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and structured thinking skills
- Experience working with Tableau, SAP, Lean IX, Signario, Collibra or comparable solutions will be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills and business fluent English
