The Director, Solution Architecture EMEA leads a team of Solution Architects, ensuring the successful design, implementation and validity of ServiceNow solutions aligned with customer business outcomes. This position requires a profound understanding of ServiceNow's platform, product expertise, and a broad perspective on various workflows and enterprise architectures. The Regional Director will provide mentorship, direction, and support to the team of architects, enhancing their ability to deliver exceptional service during sales cycles and engagements with customers and partners.
As a key leader, you will will work closely with sales teams, solution consulting, partners, and peer teams within Expert Services, to develop innovative Expert Services implementation solutions for our most strategic customers. This role demands a blend of technical acumen, business understanding, and exceptional leadership skills to guide the team in delivering high-value solutions and maintaining ServiceNow's standards and best practices.
**_ What you get to do in this role:_**
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Solution Architects, ensuring their growth and development.
- Collaborate with sales and consulting teams to drive the growth and success of ServiceNow solutions, measured by the consumption and growth of solutions that are in use by the customer
- Ensure the delivery of comprehensive and cohesive architectural solutions that align with customer's enterprise architecture and business objectives.
- Act as a senior consultant and advisor to C-Level executives, both within IT and business functions.
- Maintain and enhance relationships with key customer stakeholders, ensuring continuous engagement and satisfaction.
- Oversee the development and approval of Statements of Work (SoWs), ensuring risk management and alignment with customer needs.
- Actively participate in project governance, providing strategic oversight and ensuring adherence to architectural and design principles.
- Facilitate and support the team in pre-sales activities, solutioning, scoping, and project roadmaps.
- Promote continuous learning and development within the team, staying abreast of new technologies and ServiceNow functionalities.
- Set the standard for what a Solution Architect within an industry and develop the team to not only meet that criteria but exceed it
- Achieve individual and team targets including - EMEA level services bookings and high customer satisfaction in the delivery of those solutions.
- Travel up to 50% annually, as dictated by customer needs and internal meetings.
**Qualifications** To be successful in this role, we need someone who has**:
- Extensive career in Professional Services and experience of pre-sales solutioning and delivery of ServiceNow solutions.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and directing a team of architects or consultants.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills, both internally and externally, with a focus on engaging effectively with diverse teams and customers.
- Proficient in discussing complex, multi-technology solutions, linking them to business value propositions.
- Strong ability to manage complex customer engagements, investing time and resources judiciously.
- Skilled in navigating challenging conversations and meetings with various stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple opportunities concurrently and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in creating professional, visually rich conceptual design documents for diverse audiences.
- Effective in communicating complex business and technical concepts, with a talent for visualization and modeling.
- Experience in conducting solution presentations and achieving customer acceptance to solution design.
- A passion for continuous learning in new technologies and participating in projects that challenge existing capabilities.
