**_ Data Science & Machine Learning_**

Our Data Science and ML Team is looking for a highly motivated Data Scientist to join. You will be working with a team of experts in the field of Machine Learning and Data Science, who are driving innovation in our company by quickly creating prototypes for different ML use cases.

As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for providing expertise to stakeholders within the organization to help identify the best ML solutions for improving the experience of our customers and achieving our business goals. You will be working closely with and Product Managers, Engineers, Analysts and other Data Scientist to ensure that our prototypes are aligned with the business objectives and represent the best solutions for integration into our platform.

**TASKS WITH IMPACT**
- Developing and implementing machine learning models for different use cases and working with large datasets using SQL, Python, Spark and Snowflake
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate ML models into production systems
- Quick development of lightweight prototypes for exploring the feasibility and value of new data driven and ML based features for our ecommerce platform
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the field of Machine Learning and Data Science

**YOUR ADDED VALUE**
- Experience in a Data Science or Machine Learning role
- Strong programming skills in Python including knowledge in frameworks for PoC creation like streamlit, Dash and fast-api
- Solid Data Engineering skills (SQL, Spark, pandas, ETL Tools like dbt, Talend or Azure Data Factory)
- Experience in using cloud-based machine learning environments like AzureML or Google VertexAI
- Strong problem-solving & analytical skills, hands-on mentality and willingness to constantly learn and adopt new technologies
- Ideally you have degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Fluent in English (German is a plus)
- Experience in Product or Project Management is big plus
