**What to Expect**

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Site Management Intern to join our team in the drive unit and battery pack shops. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our construction team, supervising ongoing brownfield and greenfield construction activities on-site. As an intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience by working with a diverse group of internal stakeholders—including engineering, procurement, quality, facility management, and manufacturing teams—as well as external partners, such as specialized contractors. Together, we’ll work towards achieving our ambitious project goals while offering you a comprehensive understanding of construction site management in a dynamic environment.

**What You'll Do**
- Collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the project is executed safely, adheres to high-quality standards, and remains on schedule and within budget
- Develop biddable work packages and verify contractor bids against cost and schedule estimates.
- Conduct site walkthroughs to troubleshoot and resolve field-related issues as they arise
- Assist in reporting on construction progress, highlighting risks, as well as schedule and budget variances.
- Respond promptly to queries and resolve any technical obstacles that hinder project completion.
- Gain experience in design development, permitting strategies, construction documentation and administration, with a strong emphasis on project closeout processes.

**What You'll Bring**
- Currently pursuing an engineering degree, preferably in mechanical, electrical, or construction management.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German is a plus.
- Willingness to spend significant time in the field, with a hands-on approach to completing objectives and gathering accurate information.
- Strong organizational skills and familiarity with design and construction/project management software such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, AutoCAD, and Revit.
- Knowledge of project budgeting and scheduling, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are completed on time.
- Ability to thrive in a high-performance, cross-functional environment with tight deadlines and ambitious goals.
