Infrastructure Architect, Projects and Disaster

Join our team as an **Infrastructure Architect and Disaster Recovery Specialist** Are you passionate about designing cutting-edge IT systems and ensuring business continuity in the face of disasters? We're seeking a skilled professional to lead our IT infrastructure projects and disaster recovery efforts.

**Your responsibilities**
- Escalation, project management, business development, IT process improvement, and vendor management are part of your responsibilities, collaborating with teams, PMO, and the Manager of Infrastructure Architecture.
- Drive annual disaster recovery tests in data centers, ensuring proper documentation and sharing of information with the Audit team.
- Conduct strategic technology planning to align with corporate goals.
- Design and implement information systems to effectively support organizational architecture.
- Document process designs and solutions to ensure efficient, flexible, scalable, and maintainable support for current and future organizational needs.
- Consider performance, fault tolerance, high availability, disaster recovery, long-term support, licensing, and third-party commitments, including compliance with ISO27001 and TISAX.
- Design solutions considering business impacts, inter-system communication, security requirements, and industry best practices.
- Influence team members to achieve goals.
- Participate in meetings and facilitate communication among teams, collaborating closely with the Manager of Infrastructure Architecture on key projects.

**Your profile**
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, business administration, or commerce -OR- equivalent professional training and certifications, with at least 5 years of related work experience in similar positions.
- Strong technical IT background with extensive experience across various technologies. Minimum 5 years of robust experience in IT Infrastructure.
- Highly organized with excellent prioritization skills, capable of managing multiple complex projects while effectively communicating technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills at the enterprise technology level, focusing on mitigating business and customer risks.
- Proficient in Risk Management best practices, business continuity planning, and maintaining excellent uptime records.
- Proven track record of providing timely technical support to customers.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities, including experience in establishing and enhancing processes and business risk mitigation strategies.
- Highly proficient in the full Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Flexibility to travel between 10 - 30% of the time globally to perform on-site audits at our operations.
- Fluent in English, German very nice to have; additional languages such as Arabic, Spanish, French, Mandarin, Hindi are a bonus.
