Head of 93k Testlab

We are looking for a Head of 93k Testlab & Systemroom (M/F/d) who will join the SW-Test (TVR) section and will be leading a group of more than 25 experienced Test-, System-, and Infrastructure engineers (internal and external colleagues in two teams). You will be working in the areas of SW system test automation and execution, SW quality and test infrastructure operations & maintenance.

With your strong background in the latest SW, testing, and automation technologies & practices as well as your in-depth and thorough understanding of Advantest products (V93k) and SW development & testing processes, you will shape the future of SW test, test infrastructure and automation at Advantest.
Together with your experienced teams you will directly influence the success of the Advantest V93000 ATE platform.

In the role of Head of 93k Testlab & Systemroom (M/F/d) you will:

- Coordinate and run SW system test activities in alignment with several other locations (Germany, China, Japan, India)
- Take responsibility for 93k Testlab & Systemroom test infrastructure, availability, capacity management, and operations with the aim to provide a reliable test infrastructure, increase utilization and support sustainable growth
- Own and (automatically) collect & report metrics on SW system test results, SW quality and test infrastructure usage
- Increase automation and test coverage without compromising on SW quality aspects
- Show your passion for SW quality, test automation, and test infrastructure by working with your teams to reduce feedback cycles, test execution and increase test infrastructure efficiency
- Commonly decide on release decisions together with SW R&D colleagues
- Directly (disciplinary) lead of a group more than 25 experienced Test-, System-, and Infrastructure engineers (internal and external colleagues in two teams)
- Hire new colleagues, plan budget, and manage external partner companies
- Give strategic direction and priority on what needs to be done
- Enable your teams to identify the best possible way how to achieve the common goals
- Lead by example to establish an open and transparent work environment with a strong feedback culture and the aim for continuous improvement
- Work with the entire SW R&D organization at several international locations to identify synergies, align on common goals and motivate change
- Identify and understand team impediments and work actively on their resolution

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor/master's degree in computer science or a related field
- In-depth understanding of SW development & testing processes
- Minimum 8 years industry experience in large scale software development & testing, preferably in one or several of the following areas: test automation, SW system test, test infrastructure, DevOps & automation
- Several years of experience leading international teams and / or projects at several locations
- Several years of experience in the development, integration, and test of complex systems (SW, HW, Mechatronics)
- Several years of experience with scaled agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Scrum of Scrum,)
- Servant leader mentality with the aim to grow, develop and support teams to achieve more than what was thought is possible
- Result oriented, self-driven and self-motivated approach with the aim of getting things done
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Passion for agile, continuous improvement, automation, quality, and transparency
- Intercultural understanding and communication capabilities

Preferred Qualification:

- In-depth understanding of Advantest products (V93k) and Advantest SW development and testing processes
- Experience in regulated environments (e.g. automotive, medical, aerospace) and related frameworks like ASPICE
- German and/or Chinese and/or Japanese language skills
