Proclinical are recruiting for a Head of Logistics for a pharmaceutical organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Boeblingen.

**Responsibilities**:

- Accountable for handling the international logistics field containing teams of operational purchasing, planning and predicting, customer service, customers, distribution and inventory management.
- Accountable for the further development of procedures and structures within field as well as improve them aligned with both corporate and sector goals.
- Guarantee optimisation of the company's provider and country management in collaboration with any other divisions.
- Focus on optimisation of the company's inventory management and international distribution and stock level logistics.
- Other duties may be assigned.

**Key Skills and Requirements**:

- Educated to a degree level in a business administration or industrial engineering role.
- At least 5-7 years of experience within the allocated supply chain area.
- Know-how of business procedures in the segments production planning, predicting, operational purchasing and logistics, ideally within a pharmaceutical organisation.
- Expertise on warehousing, customs and inbound and outbound logistics.
- Know-how of project management.
- Various years of experience in a leadership role and success in the design and execution of procedures and projects.
- Capable of guiding providers, develop them and improve their performance.
- A structured, meticulous individual with the ability to work well independently and is results focused.
- Deliberation capabilities.
- Works well in a team.
- Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Expertise on SAP, particularly within module MM and PP.
- Intercultural proficiency.
- Fluency in both the German and English languages.
