Head of Accounting

**Your role**:
We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Accounting with an entrepreneurial mindset to lead financial operations and drive impactful strategic finance projects at Lunar X.
You will steer a range of accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and tax coordination.
Your responsibilities also include ensuring timely month-end closings, implementing new accounting software, managing global consolidated financials, and facilitating investor reporting.
With our presence in four global markets, your international expertise is key to your success in this role.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Entrepreneurially lead and manage broad accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes
- Facilitate the month-end closing process while meeting all financial reporting deadlines
- Drive important and impactful strategic projects, including the deployment of new software and systems
- Direct and supervise the development of global consolidated financial reports
- Work in tandem with the executive team to deliver investor financial reports
- Coordinate tax planning and compliance, aided by external advisors globally

**What you add to our crew**:

- 3-5 years of substantial experience at an accounting firm or startup
- A degree in finance or accounting
- Proven track record with strategic projects, e.g., software rollout or global group consolidation
- Strong comprehension of HGB/IFRS standards and international tax issues
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively to meet tight deadlines
- International expertise, given our presence in four different markets, is required
