MIND is looking for a Research and Knowledge Exchange Associate. Your job will be to supervise, organize and develop the Neuroscience Section of MIND’s Members Association (MMA), an online platform fostering research, outreach and networking among neuroscientists involved or interested in psychedelic research. The Neuroscience Section provides a range of activities such as an academic reading group, the discussion of conference talks and the organization of events within the framework of the MIND Foundation activities, (e.g. research poster presented by its members at INSIGHT 2021). The MMA Neuroscience Section also interacts and creates events with the other MMA Sections (Mental health, Philosophy, law and ethics, arts).

**In addition, you will be supervising our multilingual project**: the MIND Blog Translation Group, aiming to provide our academic blog available in numerous languages, thanks to the contributions of the BTG contributors. As of today, the MIND Blog features 17 languages and more than 200 translations and is maintained by over 100 contributors. The position is a mini-job (10h/week) at the MIND office in Berlin-Friedrichshain or remotely, starting as soon as possible. This role is ideal for neuroscience/pharmacy or (bio)medical MSc, Ph.D. students or post-docs, and provides further networking and career opportunities.

Tasks
- Organize and facilitate Neuroscience Section meetings
- Support community building/foster outreach
- Poll for papers/conference talks
- Manage members
- Present research papers at the reading group meeting (occasionally)

Organize the section’s speakers’ elections
- Initiate community/conference/research projects with the members
- Participate in community building with the other MMA sections
- Supervise the BTG activities (check the consistency of reporting, fill data sheet)

**Requirements**:

- Minimum BSc. in a field related to neuroscience, pharmacology, biomedical/medical sciences
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated with a strong interest in neuroscience and psychedelic research
- Professional fluency in English (other languages are considered an asset)
- Strong presentation skills
- Superior organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a team environment
- Ability to think conceptually, strategically, organizationally, and analytically and develop pragmatic solutions to complex problems
- Leadership abilities
