**About the Role**:
Ready for an exciting remote opportunity in Germany? Join our growing legal team as a Paralegal at Altium. Imagine starting your day by providing top-notch legal and administrative support to our General Counsel. You'll dive into researching and analyzing legal and regulatory developments, ensuring we stay ahead of the game. Your expertise will shine as you easily review and draft redline mutual non-disclosure agreements. Collaborating with our multidisciplinary team, you'll promote consistency and knowledge transfer, making sure everyone is on the same page. Managing the legal team calendar and deliverables will be a breeze for you. you'll play a pivotal role in managing our IP trademark portfolio and Patent Register, as well as leading the legal integration of any acquired businesses under the guidance of our General Counsel. Please note that this is a remote position in Germany and may require some working hours beyond regular working hours.

**A Day in The Life of Our Paralegal**:

- Provide effective legal and administrative support to the General Counsel
- Research and analyze legal and regulatory developments relevant to legal services
- Review, reline, and draft mutual non-disclosure agreements with confidence
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to promote consistency and knowledge transfer
- Serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders
- Develop relevant policies and protocols to support the legal function.
- Manage the legal team calendar and deliverables
- Manage the IP trademark portfolio and Patent Register
- Lead, with the oversight of the General Counsel, the legal integration of any acquired businesses

**Who You Are and What You'll Need for This Position**:

- 5+ years of experience as a paralegal at a global SaaS organization
- Fluency in CLM, file management, and document management systems
- Demonstrable critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Sound work ethic commitment to confidentiality, and attention to detail
- Fluency with legal documents and confidence in your work
- A mature and calm personality
- Ability to work with sales teams
- Willingness to be coached
- Experience with redlining NDAs and assembling legal documents for teams
- Ability to bring together legal principles for the organization
- Good understanding of data protection or privacy regulations
- Certification is not required, but tertiary experience is preferred
- Previous experience in a legal department is beneficial
- Being bilingual in German and strong English (EMEA) is a huge plus
