The Product security manager will be working within the R&D department at Exasol, reporting into the VP of Engineering but with close links to the Information Security Officer.
You will be joining a fast growing, international technology company and be responsible for taking the security of our product stack to the next level.
We are looking for an individual who can help drive security into multiple development teams. The individual has to be outcome focused and a team player.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Supporting VP of engineering and Information Security Officer on shifting security capabilities left into our engineering teams
- Engaging actively with different development teams on understanding their development practises
- Creating an effective framework, applicable to the way Exasol operate, for delivering security across our entire SDLC
- Identifying priorities within engineering to maintain high security standards and driving change within the teams
- Working closely with product management on assessing and prioritising security initiatives in line with business priorities
- Reporting regularly on the status of information security within our product landscape
- Supporting our incident response capabilities for our product deployments
**Your profile**:
- Experience of building and integrating a Secure DLC process within an engineering function
- Experience of working with engineering teams and generating buy-in with multiple stakeholders in a similar sized organisation
- Experience of security consulting with an agile development framework, identifying security requirements early on and driving solutions into backlogs/ sprint cycles
- Evidence of running Threat modelling workshops and implementing on-going processes for self-managed TM workshops
- Experience of implementing SAST/ DAST tooling across multiple teams
- Strong analytical mindset, able to solve issues quickly and effectively in a dynamic environment
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience of building and integrating a Secure DLC process within an engineering function
- Experience with Google SDLC (SLSA)
- Experience with SonarQube
- Knowledge of Cloud security architecture principles and best practises, assessing cloud environments and identifying gaps for remediation
- Experience of designing security blueprints
- Management of multiple resources delivering security engineering
