If you want to know more about us go to GMV website **WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?** In our team, you will manage ongoing operations, monitor and control the STRATOS system, oversee the ESA Columbus systems, and be in charge of planning for EPIC (European Payload Operations and Integration Center) and COMET (Columbus Mission Operations and Evaluation Team) Your main tasks will be: - Long-term (LTP) and short-term planning (STP) of ESA activities of both the crew and ground teams - Supporting the Operations Planning for Columbus and European experiments - Performing special tasks for realtime experiment support **WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?** We are looking for **graduates in the engineering** **field** with **background and interest in the space sector.** If this position sounds like the perfect fit for you, here’s what we’re looking for: - Engineering degree or equivalent University degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) - Willingness to work shifts also outside of normal "office hours" (e.g. over weekends) - Excellent organizational skills - Ability to work under stress - Good team working and communication skills - Fluency in written and spoken English - Demonstrable motivation and interest in Human Space Flight/Space Operations We will also value previous experience, and knowledge in Columbus operations and experience with understanding and planning complex projects.
