**Then come and join our global team for a master’s for a master’s thesis in the field of natural language processing (NLP) in healthcare.**
**Your tasks and responsibilities**:
- You will perform a literature review on the state-of-the-art large language models (LLMs)
- You will conduct a comparative analysis of the performance of the very recent LLMs in the medical domain. For this purpose, you will implement an evaluation framework and perform benchmark experiments for different clinical NLP tasks
- You will study the advantages and limitations of the studied LLMs based on the experimental results
- You may propose approaches to improve the performance of the recent LLMs in the medical domain
**Your qualifications and experience**:
- You are a master’s student (f/m/d) in the field of computer science, mathematics, natural language processing, or related fields
- You have deep knowledge and understanding of natural language processing (NLP), language modeling in NLP, machine learning, and statistics
- You have hands-on experience in Python programming and machine learning frameworks such as Pytorch
- Knowledge in a neural network framework Flax is a plus
