**CMO (f/m/d)
- This is a full-time position based in Berlin, Germany. We are a remote-first company with several in-person offsites during the year._

We are looking for a business-savvy marketing executive, to join the top leadership of CareerFoundry. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll work directly with other c-suites, to drive a future-oriented strategy and vision for the marketing organization and beyond.

**Your Responsibilities**
- Strategy: You’ll take ownership of the marketing strategy that paves the way to us achieving our annual revenue goals
- Stakeholder management: You’ll collaborate with cross-functional leaders to build effective and trusting relationships
- Leadership: You’ll lead 2 direct reports, with specialisms including performance, brand, content, and product marketing
- Optimize our marketing portfolio: You’ll continue to diversify our marketing channels with close monitoring and regular performance analysis
- Brand: You’ll evolve our brand and its positioning ensuring impact, consistency, and coherence across our customer journey
- Product champion: You’ll align the marketing objectives with product intelligence
- Forward-thinking: You’ll leverage AI technology and automation to unlock new ways of working, streamlining campaigns with behavior analysis. Monitoring current trends and predicting new opportunities
- Community-building: Activate and engage our community of students, mentors and teachers

**What you’ll work on**:

- Co-ownership for company revenue growth and €10M budget together with our CRO
- Prioritization of goals, marrying long-term strategy with short-term wins
- Ownership for marketing vision and execution
- Long term diversification of marketing channels
- Scalability of marketing and CPA per course
- Brand positioning and value proposition
- Developing a talented team of direct reports

**Requirements**:

- You have 10+ years in marketing leadership roles, with experience at director, VP, or C-level
- You have a standout track record of consumer and product marketing
- You have a structured, practiced approach, combined with excellent interpersonal skills, to ensure effective cross-departmental communication and collaboration
- You are equally comfortable operating at levels of abstraction when it comes to brand and product marketing, to drilling down into data on topics of performance marketing and marketing efficiency
- You’re a “data native”, with experience with BI systems and using data to discover business opportunities
- You have strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
- You’re fluent in English
