Portfoliomanager Advanced Thermoplastics

We’re currently looking for a Portfoliomanager Advanced Thermoplastics (M/F/diverse) for our location in Hamburg. In this role you’re in charge of the following tasks:

- Business Development with respect to Plastic Compounding incl. e.g. product, sales and production strategy
- Monitor the technical development of the market including sustainability (recycling, CO2, etc.)
- Develop short to long-term sales forecasts
- Manage the product portfolio of internal and external customers and support the corresponding product strategies
- Execute feasibility studies based on customer requirements
- Prepare quotations from a commercial and chemical-technical point of view
- Translate product requirements into material requirements and specifications and observe relevant legal guidelines
- Manage projects in the field of plastic compounding throughout all phases from consulting to planning and implementation and support
- Execute material releases (internally and at the customer)
- Close cooperation with R&D, Tech Centers for Plastics and ContiTech central functions in Hanover
- Contribute with technical know-how in the development of new compounds
