Tasks In line with the Vison, Mission and Fields of Actions of the CT Group SCM developing and implementing an organization wide and integrated supply chain strategy from the supplier to the customer with the aim: customer satisfaction, SCM Quality and reliable SCM processes Lead and continuously improve the BA wide, integrated and comprehensive supply chain organization including its strategy (Transformation/ Digitalization, Sustainability, etc.) Global responsibility for all SCM functions according to "Source - Make - Deliver" principle: material requirement planning, customer, operative & production logistics, scheduling, extended work bench management, raw material supply, incoming & warehousing, distribution logistics, master data management, finished goods inventory optimization & warehousing, SCM methods & standards, KPI reporting etc.) SCM Launch Management for new projects (PLC) Based on the long-term sales planning - determination of the necessary production capacities to cover the customer demand in the long-term period (serves as an input for the investment planning process) Define, develop, and execute together with Global Operations and BA management team the BA footprint strategy to avoid short-term decisions on restructuring and Greenfields Coordination and Responsible for the global capacity allocation process for new Sales projects to ensure balanced global production capacity Leading and optimizing of the global Working Capital “Inventory Management” along the entire supply chain of the BA SSL Development and implementation of innovative SCM concepts (End-to-End) to increase efficiency along the supply chain in line with the requirements of the BA targets Initiate and lead global optimization measurements to synergize local and regional related resources. Implementation (incl. target setting) of a Global SCM KPI system for the supply chain (e.g., On time delivery, inventory levels, warehousing, etc.) and monitoring/controlling of the performance of all supply chain and logistics activities against these goals. Initiate and supervise countermeasures in case of negative deviations SCM Cost Transparency & Controlling for BU SSL - monthly deviations & implement countermeasures Leads & supports SCM projects for the Continental/ ContiTech organization **Qualifications**: University degree in engineering, economics, business administration or comparable degree with a focus on Logistics / SCM Good work experience in the area of SCM / Logistics (automotive industry and Non-Automotive Industry) Excellent know-how regarding SCM tools and methods in particular combination with lean management techniques Several years of experience in international project management SAP know how Several years of experience in international SCM projects Several years of international management/ staff experience Several years of Leadership experience / leading leaders High level of customer orientation Applications from severely handicapped people are welcome.
