Your role
- Assist in day-to-day financial operations including, but not limited to, bookkeeping, accountancy, and expense management
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting and tax standards
- Support in the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and forecasts
- Assist in budget planning and tracking
- Collaborate with the head of finance in preparing financial statements and other financial analysis
- Conduct market research and analysis to support business decision-making
- Review actuals vs budget for various departments and projects, identifying variances and providing explanations for any significant deviations
- Partner with several departments (e.g. People Ops, Business Development, International Growth, Engineering & Machine Learning)
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
**Profile**:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in finance, management, accounting, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in English, German language skills are a plus
