**Your tasks**

As (Senior) Associate (M/F/d), Mergers & Acquisitions, you will be responsible for the following activities:

- Supporting the Bertelsmann Investments team in M&A activities (from origination to post-merger integration) with a focus on developing new growth areas, including digital health
- Leading M&A projects in collaboration with the portfolio companies' management teams while building and maintaining relationships with all key partners and stakeholders
- Preparing financial models and conducting other data based quantitative analyses
- Proposing new investment targets and screening the inbound deal-flow

**Your profile**

You completed your studies in Business Administration, Economics or a comparable degree program with very good marks. Your personal profile is completed with:

- First work experience (e.g. through internships), ideally in investment banking, management consulting or a comparable role in large organizations
- Experience in the areas of market analysis, financial analysis, company valuation and financial modeling
- Excellent analytical skills with a solution-oriented working method
- Proven passion for transaction related tasks and strong project management skills
- Excellent English and German language skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis
- International experience (optional)
