In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee the export and logistics strategy, ensuring compliance with trade regulations, driving efficiency, and optimizing vehicle distribution across Europe. What You’ll Do:
**Build & Lead the Export & Logistics Team**:

- Design and establish the structure of a high-performing export and logistics team, balancing in-house capabilities with third-party partnerships.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop a diverse team of export managers and logistics coordinators across Europe.
- Foster a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Set and monitor KPIs for export performance, logistics efficiency, and team productivity.
- Ensure operational excellence across all logistics and export processes.

**Develop & Execute Export Strategy**:

- Create and implement a comprehensive export strategy tailored to the European market, addressing trade regulations, compliance issues, and customer requirements.
- Establish relationships with international partners, transport companies, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure full compliance with customs regulations, trade laws, and industry standards.
- Focus on cost efficiency while maintaining high service levels, balancing speed, cost, and quality.

**Stakeholder & Partner Relationship Management**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including transportation companies, documentation services, and regulatory authorities.
- Serve as the internal expert on European export and logistics, advising leadership on market trends, risks, and opportunities.

**Risk Management & Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with international trade laws, including customs documentation, tariffs, and export controls.
- Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks such as supply chain disruptions and regulatory changes.

**Continuous Improvement & Growth**:

- Monitor export performance and provide data-driven recommendations for operational improvements.
- Stay informed about global trade trends, emerging markets, and industry best practices.
- Drive cost optimisation and efficiency improvements across logistics and export operations.

What We’re Looking For:
**Skills & Experience**:

- 5-10 years of experience in export, logistics, and vehicle distribution, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing European operations.
- Proven experience building and scaling export and logistics functions from the ground up.
- Deep understanding of European vehicle distribution and logistics hubs, including major transportation corridors.
- In-depth knowledge of European intra-EU and extra-EU regulations, cross-border trade compliance, and automotive industry standards.
- Proven experience managing cross-border logistics operations and stakeholder relationships.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to manage strategic partnerships across multiple markets.
- Familiarity with logistics management software, ERP systems, and vehicle tracking technologies.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
- Proven experience collaborating with third-party partners to support logistics and export operations.
