Associate Director Biostatistics

Proclinical are recruiting an Associate Director Biostatistics for a biotech organisation. This role is on a permanent basis with the ability to work remotely from anywhere in Germany. The client is focused on improving the lives of many.
**Responsibilities**:
- Supervise outsourced statistical CRO actions and deliverables guaranteeing highest quality.
- Assist and contribute to the development of divisional methods.
- Conduct sample size calculations, develop statistical examination plans and guide TFL development.
- Other duties may be assigned to this role.
**Key Skills and Requirements**:
- Educated to an advanced degree level in a statistics or biostatistics field.
- At least 5 years (masters degree) or 3 years (PhD degree) of experience working within a pharmaceutical organisation and/or CRO which involves proposal familiarity.
- Know-how of clinical study designs, statistical strategies, adaptive designs, regulatory guidelines such as ICH, FDA, EMA, etc., and statistical software such as SAS, EAST, and R.
- Consciousness of the bigger picture, strong focus on quality, novelty and solution focused thinking.
- Familiarity with clinical study designs in either oncology or infectious illnesses.
