We: - Deliver end-to-end innovation through an empowered learning culture, exploring, developing and qualifying innovations that delight consumers. - Innovate and bring to life the future of the Company, guided by focused consumer research and the trends that will grow our industry long term. - Drive safety, sustainability, quality and regulatory always front and center to our work. - We want you to join the Wella R&D family on an exciting journey through exciting challenges and opportunities as we become an independent, winning Wella again**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** - The position is for a newly established role in Regulatory Affairs with accountability with chemical regulations including REACH and classification and labelling, as well as the oversight of the regulatory evaluation and approval of Raw Materials in strict collaboration with the Raw material coding/SAP RD capability owner.- We expect the role to further streamline the regulatory approval process for Raw Materials by implementing pragmatic simplification approaches and make them systematic, as well as by identifying synergies between raw materials and fragrance coding processes.- As part of this role, You will ensure ongoing conformity with REACH requirements as applicable to imported products in the EU, UK and Turkey, leading the interface with respective consultants. You will provide technical leadership and guidance to any new ingredient requiring registration under the EU/UK chemicals legislative framework and will ensure increase in import volumes are approved timely.- Finally, You will have a critical role of monitoring chemical regulations feeding into the existing HPI and Regulatory Change Management processes with the expectation of minimized business impact.**QUALIFICATIONS** - University’s degree in Scientific disciplines. University level education in chemistry is a strong plus. - Relevant experience in Regulatory Affairs for both cosmetics and chemicals - Proven record of effective collaboration with R&D and non-R&D functions - Familiarity with SAP RD - Fluency in English is required.
