**Your Role**:
The Senior Local Patient Safety Associate (LPSA) is directly accountable for performing all pharmacovigilance (PV) tasks allocated to the Local Patient Safety organization under the supervision of the Local Patient Safety Officer (LPSO) in Canada. Tasks must be performed in full compliance with all relevant global and local regulatory requirements and company standards. The Senior LPSA is required to make local PV related decisions in the absence of the LPSO.
Individual with extensive PV experience and knowledge pertaining to the Canadian and international regulations. Proven ability to work individually and within a team environment.
**Who You Are**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Degree in health care or life sciences
- Fluent in written and spoken local language; English. French is a definite asset
- 5+ years experience in PV or related areas (i.e. Clinical Research, Medical or Regulatory Affairs...) in the pharma industry/health authority
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience with Audits internal/external
