The Internship Assignment

As an Event Management Intern, you'll dive into the exciting world of internal events and initiatives that enhance Tesla's employee experience. You'll support complex daily work across a wide range of event disciplines within the Employee Experience team. This includes assisting with day-to-day operations by managing event processes such as developing event plans, coordinating logistics, and supporting the Event Lead through various implementation phases. You'll play a key role in post-event reporting and analysis, collaborating closely with supervisors and associates across multiple business units to develop and implement improvements that elevate future events. Working with the team, you'll help implement best practices in a comprehensive event management system, using creativity and communication to strengthen connections between employees, leaders, and Tesla's mission.

**What You'll Do**
- Support in developing and planning event scopes including logistics, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination
- Demonstrating a hands-on mentality by proactively assisting with setup, teardown, and on-site tasks to ensure events run smoothly
- Working on Employee Experience programs (like well-being, recognition, internal events, community engagement, and perks) and assisting in developing innovative initiatives to connect and engage employees
- Learning to maintain day-to-day stakeholder relationships, leveraging cross-functional networks to execute events at multiple locations simultaneously
- Reviewing compliance with all event guidelines, safety regulations, and best practices to guarantee seamless execution
- Assisting event setups for technical aspects, such as audio-visual equipment (sound systems, microphones, lighting, projectors), and ensuring an optimal attendee experience with regard to ergonomics and flow

**What You'll Bring**
- Very good knowledge of English and good knowledge of German, both written and spoken
- Demonstrated flexibility, creativity, and adaptability through past projects, extracurricular activities, or internships (e.g., organizing university or community events)
- Ability to analyze problems and find structured solutions, with an analytical mindset and problem-solving orientation
- Studying or within 6 months of having finished a degree in a relevant field such as event management, communications, hospitality, or a related discipline
