Upvest, founded in 2017, enables any financial institution to offer great investment experiences to its customers. With our Investment API, we enable any financial institution to offer modern and efficient investment products to their users such as fractional investing, saving plans or smart portfolios. Our clients include leading fintechs and financial institutions such as Revolut, N26, Raisin and Bunq. Our mission is to **make investing as easy as spending money** and enable the next **100m people** to invest.

We’re looking for fintech enthusiasts to join us in creating the leading financial infrastructure of tomorrow. As of today, we count 170+ talented people from 30+ nationalities with our headquarter based in Berlin, Germany. We are backed by the world’s largest venture capital funds and investors including Bessemer Venture Partners, BlackRock, Earlybird, HV Capital, Notion Capital, and Motive Ventures.

We’re based in Berlin but would consider a hybrid setup for this role. If you do want to move to Berlin though, we’re happy to support your relocation.

Our Investment API revolutionises access to investment infrastructure. We have worked relentlessly to build the product we have today and are proud to already call Europe’s largest Fintech our clients. As we enter a critical scaling phase, we need to stay laser-focused on our goal: to become Europe’s category leader. Our company strategy serves as the backbone of this focus. As Strategy Associate, you will play a vital part in shaping and executing our strategy—from initial conceptualization to prioritisation, execution and communication of key initiatives. Example projects include supporting our international expansion and uncovering new business opportunities.

**Own our organisational strategy as a key enabler for growth and focus**

With over 170 talented professionals on our team and continued growth in product, markets, and client reach, it’s essential to maintain a sharp focus, make strategic decisions, and set clear priorities. You will be the driving force in the development and execution of our organisational strategy. You will own the OKR process, link our OKRs with core business KPIs, and collaborate across teams to ensure cohesive decision-making and strategic prioritisation. Additionally, you’ll play a central role in shaping and delivering our internal communications strategy.

**Work cross-functionally to gain deep insights into our business**

As a member of the strategy team, you’ll engage in cross-functional projects to gain a comprehensive understanding of our product, clients, operations, and banking ecosystem. Working closely with our Chief of Staff and our executive and extended management teams, you’ll ensure seamless business operations. You will also play an active role in our fundraising efforts. You will gain wide exposure across our business, contributing to high-impact projects alongside senior leadership.

**Job requirements**:

- You have at least 2 years of experience in strategy consulting or similarly fast-paced environments, such as startups or scaleups
- You excel at analysing complex problems, breaking them down into actionable insights, and driving towards measurable outcomes.
- You thrive in cross-functional teams, aligning efforts toward shared goals. You are comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, adapt quickly to new challenges, and are eager to take on tasks beyond your typical scope of ownership.
- You enjoy developing and articulating strategic initiatives while also diving into the details to ensure flawless execution.
- You are a fintech enthusiast, ideally have experience in the investment market and are excited to share the future of investing
