**Your roles and responsibilities**
- As Head of global Strategy, you will lead the strategic alignment of the Aftermarket segment in coordination with the MAHLE 2030+ corporate strategy and be responsible for the global development and implementation of a future-oriented business segment strategy
- Together with your subordinate team, you will identify and analyze customer groups, markets, technologies and competitors as the basis for strategic assessments and decisions. You will develop a vision for the business unit that takes into account market trends, customer requirements, product innovations and organizational structures
- They identify and evaluate new product and business areas as well as market entry strategies and are responsible for M&A projects
- You will be responsible for maintaining relationships with external research institutes, technology think tanks and industry associations as well as participating in advanced research projects
- You will ensure that resources and strategic capabilities are optimally utilized, developing clear and measurable strategic plans and identifying strategic opportunities and challenges
- Manage stakeholder positioning, conduct benchmarking and participate in external industry associations

**Your skills and strengths**
- You have successfully completed a degree in economics, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
- You have extensive experience in defining and implementing strategic objectives as well as industry knowledge of the automotive industry and/or the automotive aftermarket
- Thanks to your leadership experience, you inspire people with new ideas, promote personal responsibility and have a motivating effect on those around you. You are also familiar with conflict management methods
- You are business fluent in German and English and have excellent communication and presentation skills at all hierarchical levels
- Thanks to your experience in project management, you exemplify proactive action and have a strong entrepreneurial understanding as well as the courage to come up with new, future-oriented ideas
- Flexibility, assertiveness and an independent & goal-oriented way of working are among your strengths
