apoQlar is the developer of a medical mixed reality platform that is revolutionizing how medicine is practiced, experienced, learned, and shared. VSI HoloMedicine® is a medically certified software platform that leverages the Microsoft HoloLens hardware to transform medical images, clinical workflows, and medical education into an interactive 3D mixed reality environment.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a highly experienced and strategic Head of Finance in our rapidly growing mixed reality SaaS company. The Head of Finance will be a key member of the leadership team and report directly to the CEO. You will have a proven track record in a fast-paced, high growth environment and will play a critical role in the continued success of the company.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecast for the company
- Ensure that transfer pricing policies are in compliance with local and international laws and regulations, and that the company is obtaining the best possible prices for goods and services
- Participate in business development activities, identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, and playing a key role in the company's ongoing growth and expansion
- Advance performance by driving improvements in revenue, profit, customer retention, loss prevention, and expense ratios
- Overseeing the HR, IT, and Legal activities to ensure alignment with the company strategy and internal operations
- Managing and supervising companies in Germany, US, Singapore, Poland, the UK, and India and lead the setup of potential new entities
- Processing and coordination of all financial accounting tasks, in particular account assignment and posting of current business transactions in accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, payroll, general ledger and balance sheet accounting
- Monitor the financial condition of the business through the collection, interpretation and analysis of key financial metrics with the goal of maximizing operational efficiency
**Your Profile**:
- 10 + years of Accounting/ Financial experience with progressive levels of responsibility
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting or business administration
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles, as well as international financial reporting standards
- Experience in leading or supporting fundraising efforts, working closely with investors and venture capitalists to secure the necessary financing to fuel the company's growth
- Proven experience in fundraising process and demonstrated track record of successfully raising significant amounts of capital, a plus
- Proficiency, both written and verbal, in English and German languages
- You're ambitious, curious, and creative. You have an agile approach and are able to balance risk and growth
