Job summary
Would you like to help some of the best known Systems Integrators (SI) & technology partners in the world utilize cloud computing technologies? Do you want to be part of the customer success team helping to establish Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the leading cloud computing platform?
As a Partner Success Solution Architect focused on SI and Independent Software Vendors (ISV's) within (AWS), you will have the opportunity to help accelerate and deliver on customer's technical strategy leveraging solution design best practices, cloud native use cases, and a broad set of AWS solutions offered by the partner community.
In this role, you will own the technical engagement with both consulting and technology partners. You will possess deep technical skill in software architecture and cloud computing as well as customer facing skills at all levels of a partner & customer organization. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
Key job responsibilities
As a member of the AWS Solutions Architect team, you will act as a trusted advisor to our systems integrators.
This includes:
- Act as a technical leader in the field to provide architectural guidance and recommendations necessary to promote & accelerate partner engagements worldwide
- Lead architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class solutions built on AWS while ensuring solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
- Be an AWS evangelist; educate customers & partners of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS
- Author or otherwise contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as white papers, blogs, and proof of concepts
- In partnership with the sales & partner team, formulate, and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS & its partner solutions
- Build relationships with senior technical individuals within customers & partners to enable them to be cloud advocates
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community

- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
- Familiarity with common enterprise solutions from Microsoft, Oracle & SAP
