Executive Accountant

**Responsibilities**:
As our Executive Accountant you will perform complex accounting assignments following established procedures in areas such as financial reporting, intercompany accounting, general ledger, accounts receivable, customer invoicing, sales commissions, royalty accounting, fixed assets, tax reporting, and revenue recognition. You'll need to exercise independent judgement, resolve problems independently and be able to act on your own initiative.

You will...
- Prepare standard and nonstandard journal entries and general ledger account analysis
- Perform monthly financial close tasks associated with their specific area of responsibility
- Provide support to management
- Serve as a liaison with external auditors and prepares analytic schedules with commentary
- Perform an enhanced role in system implementations and upgrades of financial or other systems
- Provide guidance to lower-level staff
- Update documentation for compliance to policies and procedures and possesses an understanding of IFRS and local accounting regulations as they relate to their position

Qualifications:
To be successful you will need...
- Prior experience in an accounting role, ideally at a global organisation
- Language skills including business English and German
- A collaborative approach to team working
- Able to work part of the week in our freshly renovated modern offices in Garching
