We are looking for **EMEA Manufacturing** **Communications and Event Management Specialist** (m/w/d) to support our team in **Sulzbach (Frankfurt / Main) (18 months fixed term for parental leave)**

**Responsibilities**:
The EMEA Manufacturing Communications & Events Management Specialist will play a key role in supporting the global manufacturing organization’s communications and corporate events within the EMEA region. This role will be responsible for implementing manufacturing communications and corporate events/activities for the EMEA region across 14 production locations.

On a daily basis you will:

- Drive and support EMEA communication activities for all manufacturing employees in 8 EMEA countries.
- Support planning and implementation of corporate-wide manufacturing initiatives regionally and locally
- Consult, advise and support leadership and various departments in appropriate manufacturing communications strategies, tactics and tools on a variety of local, regional or corporate topics.
- Provide limited support for EMEA corporate regional meetings and events, including leadership presentations and employee events
- Events Management Specialist role would be the coordinator of all EMEA corporate meetings and events to ensure smooth operation of these events and support basis. Act as Registration Manger, Mobile Application support and liaison. Knowledge of Transportation and coordination of manifests is key. Sourcing of hotels and meeting locations and keeping track of excel spreadsheets to support, corporate Sales meetings, Board Meetings, and other Celanese enterprise-wide Events. Work with Global Events Management staff at the company’s Dallas HQ on regular basis.

- Provide support to Global Manufacturing Communications staff

Qualifications:

- Manufacturing Communications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field
- At least 5-7 years of professional experience in the field of corporate communications, preferably in a corporate or agency environment
- Fluent in German and English (both written and verbal)
- Excellent writing skills, great storyteller
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-changing, challenging but fun environment and can meet tight deadlines
- Advanced MS Office skills
- A self-starter who can (and likes to) work independently
- Fast learner with a structured work approach and mindset
- Comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization, including regional senior leaders, as well as external partners
- Ability to build strong relationships and has outgoing personality
- Works well in a global team
- Solid knowledge of creative tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe, video editing etc.) a plus
- Events Management Specialist:

- 2-3 years of related work experience in the field Event Management
- Meeting management skills including registration and mobile app knowledge
- Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
- High level of detail management involving multiple spreadsheets and multitasking with various chains of information
- Strong background in Meetings, Events, and Marketing is a must
