Director, Dental Laboratory Channel Emea

**Description**:
The Director, Dental Laboratory Channel will lead the regional dental laboratory strategy development, delivery and execution for Align, increasing Align opportunities both within and through the dental laboratory sector, further supporting and strengthening the dental practitioners digital dentistry workflows.

Reporting to the VP iTero EMEA, with dotted line in to the global lab Director to ensure global alignment, the incumbent will support the development of regional commercial strategies and plans that leverage the Align digital platform through the dental laboratory channel. The Director will develop regional laboratory segmentation, value proposition, go to market strategy and also deliver the Align advanced restorative education programs enhance the digital workflow experience for both clinicians and technicians. This leader will work in partnership cross functionally with the regional and country based Invisalign, iTero and Exocad functional teams in the execution of the dental laboratory strategy to meet sales and growth targets.

**Role expectations**:

- Development of the regional lab strategy for Align, driving the Invisalign pathway through alignment of iTero, Exocad and Invisalign strategies.
- Execute commercial programs for labs to drive iTero scanner sales to and through the lab channel. Define regional pricing and promotional strategy for the lab channel.
- Develop regional laboratory sales and growth targets in conjunction with the country leadership teams
- Effective development and management of laboratory sales funnel and KPI reporting.
- Accountable for dental laboratory sales target adherence, maximizing growth and course correction
- As commercial leader for Exocad
- & Invisalign-Art solution drive day to day commercial execution working with the regional teams across Invisalign, iTero and Exocad
- Collaborate with country leadership to identify and execute laboratory distribution partners for the iTero scanner.
- Provide product, workflow, training and support requirements in collaboration with the global laboratory team for the laboratory portfolio in the region.
- Develop network of laboratory key opinion leaders
- Responsible for regional competitive intelligence tracking and reporting in the laboratory channel

**What we're looking for**:

- Qualified dental technician with digital dental technology and CADCAM experience preferred.
- BSc, BA degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred
- Experience managing a P&L in excess of $25M within a sales and marketing function
- Experience leading a sales and/or marketing team
- Experience in sales or business development roles in a dental organization preferred
- Documented record of accomplishment of performance, achievement, and excellence in sales and sales management.
- Ability to lead and manage matrix teams, including developing roles and responsibilities, objectives, and coaching/development plans.
- Thinks strategically and uses sound judgment
- Ability to drive and lead cross-functional collaboration and teams
- Technical and industry knowledge of the dental laboratory market
- Possess excellent communication, interpersonal influencing and organization skills.
- High-energy, hands-on leader with a demonstrated record of accomplishment leading new market initiatives

- Office based with normal business hours and up to 50% travel required.
