Head of Medical Staffing

**Your Responsibilities**
- Ensure that the onboard medical centers of Carnival Maritime are staffed with highly qualified and competent medical professionals (doctors, nurses, and healthcare assistants)
- Manage all aspects of the medical staffing journey including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance evaluation
- Source, select and retain exceptional healthcare talents and support the medical staffing needs
- Support high quality patient care through education of medical staff and conduct clinical, patient complaint and medico-legal reviews
- Undertake duties as required, including Health Operations Center (HOC) on-duty support and other specific brand requests related with the scope of the position

**Your Profile**
- University degree in medicine from a recognized university
- A Medical License and Registration with a Recognized Body is mandatory
- Professional experience in the area of maritime medicine both ship and preferably shore
- Having a professional experience in appraisal & investigation trainings, and life support certification aligned with ship medicine requirements
- Having a Board certification / certificate of completion of medical training is mandatory. Previous experience as a Ship´s doctor is highly desirable
- Leadership experience in a medical role is required
- In depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, licensing requirements and compliance standards
- Proficient in Data Privacy, Security, and Integrity
- Demonstrated effectiveness in independently investigating problems and moving them towards resolution
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
- Organized/structured work approach, safety driven with good ethical and value behavior
- Specific or methodological IT Skills
- Strong English communications skills, written and oral (English is the official company’s language)
