NTT DATA is currently looking for a **Technical Team Lead (f/m/d) Linux System Administration**for our growing team in Germany.

**Overview**
- We are looking for a Technical Team Lead (f/m/d) Linux System Administration with additional responsibilities as a Bridgehead-the key technical liaison between onshore, offshore teams and the customer. This role is critical in ensuring seamless communication, maintaining system stability, and delivering high-quality technical solutions in a complex, enterprise-scale environment.
- As the Technical Team Lead (f/m/d) Linux System Administration + Bridgehead, you will be responsible for leading technical discussions, driving issue resolution, managing escalations, and acting as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and delivery teams. Your deep knowledge of Linux systems architecture, scripting, automation, and operational best practices will be essential to support critical infrastructure and guide continuous improvement initiatives

**Responsibilities**:

- Technical contact for the team as well as for the customer in the areas of Linux/Unix, Veritas Cluster, Xen Server.
- In this role, you will act as a point of contact / Bridgehead to the customer for all business requirements.
- Technical Team Lead responsibilities for the Linux team in Germany.
- Compliance with service quality, customer satisfaction and SLAs.
- Developing and implementing processes and procedures that meet the expectations of NTT DATA Services' customers.
- Coordinate potential escalations and work with international technology teams to resolve issues as quickly as possible.
- Evaluate new technologies to ensure that the technical solutions used are compatible with the company's business needs and strategic objectives.
- Suggest possible process and technical improvements to management.
- Ability to lead business workshops for blueprinting activities.
- Works within general policies and management guidance, independently determining approach to managing daily operations and Provides guidance and technical advice, becoming actively involved as necessary.
- Manages a single functional area based on the direction of senior leadership.
- Responsible for meeting budget goals and objectives in an assigned area.
- Reviews IT requirements and makes recommendations to satisfy business needs.
- Influences individuals within and outside the outsourced IT department.
- Prepares high level activity and progress reports and presents to senior leadership.

**Key Skills**:

- Excellent knowledge of Linux/Unix System Administration, while supporting a large complex set up.
- Ideally knowledge in Virtualisation technologies, Veritas Cluster, Xen Server and/or Cloud.
- Fluent in both German (work language) and English, both spoken and written.
- Profound experience in providing technical guidance to multilingual teams.
- Ideally People Management experience.
- Advanced skills in communicating complex technical information clearly to all stakeholders (technical/non-technical).
- Advanced knowledge in planning and forecasting techniques for system administrators.
- Experience in large infrastructure environments.
- Know-how with system hardware.
- ITIL process know-how.
- Certification in SUSE or as RHCE an advantage.
