Let’s shape the future of the energy industry together For our Product Control department at our location in Hamburg HafenCity, we are looking for a Senior Product Controller (M/F/d) Your benefits: - Work-life balance: 38.75 working hours per week with 30 days annual leave- Ability to work freely: flexible working hours and individual work location within Germany (50% home office or more upon request)- Suitable for families: subsidized vacation camps for children, nanny support, etc.- Security and provisions: accident insurance also covering private accidents; excellent employer's contribution to your company pension scheme; "lifetime account" with opportunities to save for sabbaticals or early retirement- Health: healthy, subsidized meals in our employee restaurant, access to the free gym with sports offers, online sports courses, support in the event of personal problems and free use of the Headspace app- Learning & Development: we support you on your individual career path- Networking: networks within the company to spotlight all diversity aspects within the company, as well as participate in various company events- Other benefits: profit participation, Christmas bonus, vacation allowance, travel allowance, etc. Your tasks: - Daily Reconciliation of Physical and Derivative Trades- Calculation, monitoring and reporting of daily positions- Preparing daily/monthly Profit and Loss for the new activities and providing an explanation of the results- Assist in developing and ensuring robust controls across the front office system- Participate and drive projects to develop and streamline the ETRM system for the new activities- Implement best practices in terms reporting- Support the business to troubleshoot issues Your skills: - University Degree in Finance/Economics/Engineering or equivalent experience- Strong working knowledge of financial markets and instruments- Commodity experience within Power, Gas and Emissions is preferred.- VBA / SQL / Python / PowerBI programming languages advantageous- +2-3 years’ experience working with an ETRM system beneficial- Excellent IT and excel skills- Ability to problem solve logically and efficiently- Able to reconcile large data sets, with a high attention to detail- Strong communication skills (English & German) Your Contact:
