Job summary
As Team Lead Communications, you will lead the adelphi group's communications team and actively shape the further development of the entire communications division. You will shape our external image and position adelphi as a progressive thought leader in social media. Together with your team and the thematic programmes, you will acquire and manage new communications projects - from conception to successful implementation. You will report directly to the management. Our professional communication helps our programmes and clients to effectively implement initiatives and campaigns. Together with our national and international partners, we think ahead, enable change and shape transformative agendas in turbulent times.

Your tasks
- Management of the communications team: leading our small communications team in the areas of PR and corporate communications and developing strategic communications projects. You will be responsible for optimising the communication structures and processes of all communication stakeholders in the company
- Implementation of communication projects: Designing a consistent brand presence for the adelphi group and developing communication measures and communication strategies. Further development of press and media relations. Quality assurance of website, newsletters, social media and publications.
- Internal communication: Supporting the management in the conception and implementation of internal corporate communication.
- Social media communication: Further developing our external presence in social media, developing narratives and storylines in policy-related communication.
- Project acquisition and management: Acquiring new communication projects, managing project budgets and implementing projects from conception to evaluation. Experience in communication consulting and political communication for national and international clients would be an advantage.
- Budget management: You manage external service providers and are responsible for the communications budget.

Your qualifications
- You have at least 5 years of professional experience in communications consulting, social media communications, and advocacy communications, preferably in an agency or start-up. Experience in corporate communications is desirable.
- You have already managed smaller teams and inspire people with your ideas.
- You can manage external agencies and service providers.
- You have excellent English and German language skills.
- You have an interest in and enthusiasm for social issues and political communication on topics related to climate, the environment, society, international politics and development, as well as health and digital transformation.
- Reliability and independence, as well as a desire to help shape our organisation.
- Profound knowledge and experience in developing and implementing communication strategies and measures, as well as international campaigns.
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are experienced in budget management and acquisition, and want to develop new business areas with us.
- You are experienced in stakeholder management and internal change communication.
- This position is aimed at a versatile ‘doer’ who wants to shape the future with a small team. You will have the freedom to develop new communication projects and contribute to the growth of the adelphi group.
