Your mission We're predominantly looking for an experienced negotiator with a killer instinct & robust financial acumen This role is particularly exciting because you could potentially be one of the key individuals to unlock (no pun intended) our scalability as we grow a) the number of cities & countries we grow into, b) the number of simultaneous hotel openings, and c) the ever growing portfolio of properties we will continuously manage throughout Europe...and beyond **Your day-to-day tasks will involve**: - Proactively visiting, negotiating & testing new & current suppliers (this will take up a large proportion of your time) - Nurturing your department. You'll lead, manage, develop, train & recruit starting off with 2 hard-working direct reports - Work closely with internal departments such as Real Estate, Project Management, Brand, Interior Design, Launch, Operations & Legal to accumulate feedback, pinpoint & tackle internal & external challenges - Proactively spotting the most pressing strategic challenges and tackling them. - Setting up & improving SOPs - Quality checking - Execute data-driven actions & decisions based on analysing property performance (Revenue, Guest Satisfaction scores, Project KPIs, CAPEX & OPEX) We want you to contribute & facilitate the following high-level goals: 1. Allow for our ever-increasing speed of growth 2. Run a healthy & sustainable operating margin 3. Build a loyal fan base that loves numa 4. Provide best-in-class quality to our guests 5. Become the most scalable player on the market & outpace our competition **To achieve this we want you to**: - Negotiate the best deals possible. - Devise a scalable solution to the logístical & procurement challenges related to our pre-opening/launch projects & currently running hotels to help reach our growth goals. This is critical because not only does our portfolio grow but the number of simultaneous hotel openings is growing as well. - Establish >10 scalable relationships across Europe with key partners that can cope with our growth rate, tight deadlines, high-quality expectations. - Improve our LAC by 20% within 18 months by way of implementing standardization - Reduce our avg OPEX spend by 20% through researching, negotiating & reviewing suppliers - Improve our avg contractual payment terms by 1.5 months \- Improve material-related cost by 25% We're giving you a blank canvas and it's down to you to suggest other ways we can turbo-charge our procurement function. **Profile**: - Minimum 7 years of experience in procurement functions in one of the following fields: architecture, real estate, construction, engineering, etc. - Ability to build and maintain good relationships with external parties - Proven stakeholder management and good communication skills - Experience managing multiple tasks and finding out alternative solutions to unexpected problems - Detail-oriented with proven organisational skills - Ability to work under pressure and on multiple projects at the same time - Proven contract negotiation & management skills - Previous experience with risk management, cost management & category management - Experience with structuring, process setup & continuous improvement - You're good in strategic sourcing - Strong financial acumen with supplier relationship management - You are fluent (C1 level) in English.
