Since 1999, we have been insuring high-quality sailing and motor yachts worldwide, from day sailors to America’s Cup racers. Through our expertise and solution-oriented approach, we have established ourselves as one of the leading providers globally, earning the trust of more and more yacht owners and fleet operators.
Our team currently consists of thirty customer-focused and highly motivated employees. To meet the growing demand for our insurance solutions and seize further growth opportunities, we are looking to strengthen our team with the following position:
**Tasks**
- Processing of Yacht Insurance claims reports (comprehensive, liability, accident) and reporting of claims to our insurance partners
- Correspondence with claimants, witnesses, liable parties, and requests for documents
- Assessment of relevant documents concerning coverage and the extent of damage
- Commissioning of salvage and rescue operations, assistance and experts (if needed)
- Preparation of a settlement proposal based on terms and conditions of the contract and coordination with the insurers
- Sending settlement letters to the claimants and issuing payments
- Evaluation of recourse possibilities and, if necessary, commissioning of lawyers
**Requirements**:
- A (very) good school diploma - ideally a general university entrance qualification
- Experience in yacht building - boat builder or a nautical degree
- Experience as a claims adjuster in the insurance industry
- Interest and enthusiasm for water sports or Yachting
- Willingness to work into complex technical matters
- Fluent in spoken and written German and English
