**Job Description**:
- Owning of month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing of financial books of several entities
- Preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and trial balance reconciliation to ensure timely and accurate month end results
- Preparing annual financial statements
- Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
- Allocates expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.
- Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal id numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; ensuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments.
- Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
- Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
- Management of external financial statement audits, tax audits and internal audits
**Qualifications**:
- You have experience in Accounting, DE VAT and Compliance
- Superior data management and analysis skills including demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft products, SAP or other relevant tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent qualification and experience in AR/AP Accounting
- Fluent in English, good level of German preferred
- You are a team player with strong communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
