A job that matters: your tasks
- Lead, support and structure the implementation of global Product Development Projects with regard to Manufacturing.
- Manage the interface between Product Development and Production in global projects
- Single point of coordination across functions and regions for global initiatives for Manufacturing
- Assess in the Make or Buy process with regard to production technology & production site selection
- Ensure manufacturability and optimal use of production technology throughout projects in order to produce cost-efficient and sustainable
- As a Team Lead you manage, coach and empower team to develop their skillset, and to identify priorities, finish tasks and project goals in timely manner and steer focus onto relevant improvements
- Responsible for building strong relationship with all stakeholders, (e.g. Steering committees, Owners and Project Manager and project teams)
- Use overall project knowledge for exploiting synergies among projects and identify cross project dependencies and evaluating relating risks, requirements and opportunities
An experience that matters: your skills
- Degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or comparable background.
- Works in different cultures, different organizations, and at every management level.
- 3-5 Years of experience in international program management and leading a line organization
- Strong understanding in production and processes management
- Strong communication skills
- Networking together with the Owner, SteerCos, and project managers on the individual project and Stream plans to enable best decision how to best realize the goals.
- Self-organized, open-minded and proactive
- Proficiency in German and English (both written and spoken) is a prerequisite
