This Position reports to:
IS Service Manager

**Key responsibilities**

In this position, you will have the opportunity to actively contribute to the realization of our company’s vision and strategic direction.
With your IT expertise, you will support the resolution of technical and operational challenges on a daily basis and play a key role in the ongoing development of our systems. You will also serve as a central point of contact for our services and solutions, helping to optimize our internal processes.

This role is part of the Business IT team within LBL Energy Industries Germany and can be based at one of our locations in Mannheim, Minden, Frankfurt am Main, or Ratingen.
The main stakeholders are colleagues from the Local Business Line Energy Industries Germany.

You will be mainly accountable for:

- Manage and support the IT infrastructure to ensure stability, performance, scalability, and ease of use.
- Assist with the installation, operation, and ongoing optimization of IT infrastructure within your area of responsibility.
- Identify improvement opportunities and actively contribute to the implementation of corresponding measures.
- You will be part of a young, motivated, and open-minded team where you can contribute your technical expertise and continue to grow professionally.

**Qualifications for the role**
- A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of network technologies and IT security, as well as experience in managing operating systems. You also bring experience with virtualization technologies (such as VMware, Hyper-V, OpenShift), storage systems (Dell, HPE, IBM), cloud infrastructures, and the enterprise IT market.
- At least five years of professional experience in network engineering, system administration, and IT operations.
- Certifications in ITIL v4 and Cisco network technologies.
- Fluent in both German and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
