**Global Strategy & Business Development Specialist_Electrification**:

In this role you will be responsible to support business development function and global units in the definition and implementation of their strategies. Contribute to business development projects and/or strategic planning. Support in defining and implementing business strategies and plans for profitable growth including new market opportunities and white spots (organic and inorganic) and adjacencies. Support the active portfolio management of the division. As Global Business Development Specialist for the Electrification Distribution Solutions (ELDS) division you will be supporting the Global Business Development Manager with business plans, business intelligence, business opportunities, mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Venture Investments, post-Merger Integration and Global partnerships.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Annual refresh of strategic portfolio assessment
- Global business development projects resulting from the strategic portfolio assessment
- Market trend, customer needs and competitor analysis for identifying/capturing business opportunities (organic and inorganic)
- Market scans, research and analysis for potential acquisitions, equity investments (e.g., in startups), joint-ventures, alliances, or licensing relationships
- Execution of acquisitions and divestments as well as investments, in collaboration with the Global Business Development Manager and the M&A and Venture teams
- Planning, management and tracking of the integration of acquired businesses, incl. integration strategy, integration planning, synergy and business plan realization
- Preparation of executive communication material for the ELDS Division President, e.g. Board of Directors or Executive Committee presentations, customer presentations
**Your background**:
- Master’s degree in Business, Science, or Engineering from a leading institution; MBA from top business schools preferred
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills: strategy development and/or M&A project experience in industry or a leading consulting firm a plus
- Knowledge of Medium Voltage markets and ELDS product portfolio and basic understanding of technical processes, operations and logistics a plus
- Proven expertise and understanding of market requirements, knowledge of market analysis tools and methodologies
- Expertise in financial modelling, business plan analysis and business valuations, experience in preparation and running of workshops in the area of strategy and business development, strong leadership and team skills in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; experience in writing and delivering presentations, and communicating ideas and plans to senior management and executives
- Creative, energetic, self-motivated, flexible team player with an ability to work independently, English language proficiency a must, knowledge of other languages a plus
