**What we’re looking for**:
This role presents an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to contribute significantly to our facilities management efforts in Berlin while paving the way for potential growth into a global role.
**Job Requirements**:
**Facilities Operations Management**:
- Oversee daily facility operations to ensure a safe and functional work environment.
- Implement and manage PPM schedules for all building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
- Coordinate with service providers for repairs and maintenance activities.
- Oversee quality delivered services and propose optimisation.
- Deeper understanding and interest in the current FM and workplace trends, with ability to seek for innovative solutions.
**Project Support**:
- Assist in the planning and execution of new office projects, including renovations and expansions or minor office enhancements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of projects within budget.
- Conduct feasibility studies for potential facility improvements.
**Compliance and Safety**:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all facilities.
- Closely collaborate with internal HSE and OHS teams.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Develop emergency preparedness plans and conduct safety drills.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement DEI&B and Green initiatives within the offices.
**Vendor Management**:
- Liaise with external vendors for maintenance, cleaning, and security services.
- With the help of internal teams negotiate contracts with service providers to ensure quality service delivery at competitive rates.
- Monitor vendor performance and compliance with service agreements.
**Reporting and Documentation**:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, project progress, and facility budgets.
- Prepare reports on facility performance metrics for management review.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in facilities management or a related role
- Strong understanding of building systems and office equipment; familiarity with facilities management software is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English
- PMP, CFM, WELL certifications are a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
